Lillestrom climbed to the top of the Norwegian Tippeligaen after a 3-1 home victory over Lyn Oslo on Monday.
Magnus Myklebust fired the hosts into a 12th-minute lead, before a leveller by Stefan Gislason just before the half-hour mark gave the visitors hope.
However, Kasey Wehrman (45) struck on the stroke of half-time to restore the advantage, before substitute Arild Sundgot (86) sealed the win late on to send Lillestrom into first place on 10 points, one ahead of Brann.
Oslo, meanwhile, stay in seventh.
