Massimo Luongo has provided the match-winner as Sheffield Wednesday downed Stoke City 1-0 in the Championship.
Luongo got on the end of a flick on from Stephen Fletcher and shot past fellow Australian Adam Federici in the Stoke goal.
It was the second goal the Socceroo has scored for the Owls in the past three matches.
The midfielder had to be taken off in the second half after he received a kick to the ankle in a challenge to win the ball.
The 27-year-old joined Wednesday from Queens Park Rangers in August.
Massimo Luongo by the way. Played fantastic tonight before going off injured. Hopefully nothing too serious as he adds serious quality to Wednesday’s midfield. #swfc

After the match Owls manager Garry Monk claimed the knock didn’t appear too serious, but Luongo will face scans tomorrow morning.
The victory sees the south Yorkshire club move up to third in the Championship, just three points behind league leaders West Brom.
