Socceroo Mitchell Duke has had his contract renewed by Japanese club Shimizu S-Pulse.
Duke has been on the books of the J1 League outfit since leaving the Central Coast Mariners in 2015.
Shimizu S-Pulse announced on its website today that the contracts of the 26-year-old and three other players have been renewed.
Duke made 40 appearances in all competitions for his Japanese club in 2017, scoring two goals and setting up four others.

Shimizu S-Pulse narrowly avoided relegaton from the J1 League, finishign 14th in the 18-team competition. S-Pa were just two points above relegated side Ventforet Kofu.
The ex-Mariners winger debuted for Australia in 2013 and has four caps for the national team.
Duke was part of the Central Coast side that won the Premier's Plate in 2012 and the A-League grand final in 2013.
