To see the Socceroos train in their new training kit with the Matildas...

Football Federation Australia admit they want to set up a run of friendlies in the wake of the farewell game against New Zealand at the MCG  on May 24.

At the moment, Australia has only the Kiwi game and next week's Asian Cup qualifier against Indonesia to prepare for their crucial date with Germany in their opening World Cup Group D game.

One of those friendlies could be a game against the USA with reports in America claiming the Socceroos will play the Stars n Stripes on June 5 at a South African venue, six days before the competition starts on June 11.

An FFA spokesman refused to comment on the USA game, but admitted: "We are looking at friendlies in South Africa, but no announcements at this stage."
