The Wanderers currently sit in fifth place on the A-League ladder, five points below third-placed Brisbane Roar and two points below fourth-placed Melbourne City.

With two rounds left to play Western Sydney are eyeing a late charge up the table. The Wanderers are unbeaten in their past four matches and head into Saturday's match with Melbourne Victory full of confidence.

"Everyone’s happy, we’re all in good spirit," Sotirio said.

"The past couple of games we’ve been winning and thats what we needed to do. The luck has finally turned and we’re putting away our chances. The past couple of games we’ve been scoring three goals a game so thats positive.

"We’re just taking each game as it comes. Two more wins and we can come third or fourth and thats what we’re hoping to achieve."

Sotiro has bagged four goals in 22 appearances his season. The forward is hoping to add more to his goal tally as the season enters its climax.

"Personally that's something I wanted to work on, be more confident in the final third in front of goal, whether its creating assists or scoring goals," the 21-year old said.

"So far it’s getting there. I still want a bit more but it’s a positive and hopefully keep going on that mark and keep doing that for the team. Since I first arrived [at the club] I think I’ve improved every day. Each day I’m looking to learn and seed what I can do better.

"The coaching staff have definitely helped me on that. On a personal note I’m maturing every game, taking my chances, scoring goals and that's what I’m here to do."

Western Sydney have struggled against Melbourne Victory this seasn but Sotirio believes his team can trouble their opposition.

"We’ve lost the two previous games against them," he said.

"They’re a quality side, they’re coming second for a reason. But they’ve got their weaknesses we can exploit and we’ll see what we can do this weekend."
