The Seattle Sounders left it late to come back and secure a 3-2 win at the Portland Timbers.
Jeff Parke`s own goal put them behind a minute after half-time, only for Freddy Montero to level after 57 minutes.
Jorge Perlaza regained Portland`s lead with 21 remaining but, after Montero scored again, Seattle won it from the spot, Osvaldo Alonso scoring with seven minutes left.
Portland`s Eric Brunner was sent off for giving away the penalty, bringing down Lamar Neagle.
