Zenit parted ways with Dick Advocaat on Monday after results suffered and relations between club and manager broke down following the Dutchman's decision to take over as Belgium coach at the end of the current Russian season.

Spalletti and former Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini have been linked to the job but the Roma boss insists he is not going anywhere.

"I categorically deny not only the agreement but also any contact," he told Sky Italia.

"It's all assumption, I am and will remain coach of Roma to all effects."

Spalletti, who is under contract at Roma until 2011, joined the capital club in 2005, winning coach of the year in his first two seasons.

He endured his worst season in charge last term as Roma failed to qualify for the Champions League, finishing sixth in Serie A.

However, the 50-year-old has always committed himself to the Giallorossi despite reported interest from Juventus and AC Milan.
