Nikica Jelavic claimed a double as Rangers moved 15 points clear of Celtic at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League with a 3-1 win over Dundee United.
The striker netted the opener in the first half and doubled the lead from the penalty spot after the break.
Jon Daly got a goal back for the visitors, but United defender Garry Kenneth was then responsible for Rangers' third with an own-goal, with the only dampener on the day for the Scottish champions being the dismissal of Gregg Wylde late on.
Andrew Shinnie scored a hat-trick as bottom club Inverness secured their first away victory of the season in spectacular fashion, winning 6-3 at Kilmarnock.
Dean Shiels netted an early opener in a rare moment of class from the home side, but Shinnie levelled before the break and completed a four-goal spree from the visitors in 13 second-half minutes.
Jonny Hayes had put Inverness in front with a brilliant strike and Gregory Tade twice finished well as Inverness repeatedly exposed a disorganised defensive display from the hosts, who pulled goals back through Shiels and Paul Heffernan.
Austin McCann's third-minute goal was enough to give Dunfermline a 1-0 win at Hibernian, while St Mirren and Hearts played out a goalless draw.
