As part of the camp between April 25-30, the Olyroos will play a training match against Melbourne Victory XI on Friday morning and the Qantas Young Socceroos will face Melbourne Heart XI on Friday afternoon.

Perth Glory defender Scott Neville is the only new player added to the squad that recently gathered at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra following his return to Australia after training with English Championship club Portsmouth.

Injuries have prevented Ben Halloran, Mate Dugandzic and Kliment Taseski rejoining the squad, whilst Ante Drazina has not been re-selected.

With the first of the 2012 London Olympic Games Asian Qualifiers against Yemen less than two months away, every moment together is crucial for his team’s preparatio, said Vidmar

“Following the last camp, we now know where the players are physically and what we need to work on," he said.

“For this camp we will be looking to ramp up the intensity to take our preparations to the next level.

“It will also be a fantastic hit-out against Melbourne Victory to test ourselves at the end of the week.”

Fresh from the previous camp, Jan Versleijen is also very eager to work with the playing group again.

“Our first camp was very successful, but we still need to work on the football conditioning," he said.

“I will also be introducing more tactical work into the training to get the players playing in the way that we want them to play.

“There is not much time left before the selection has to be made, so there is plenty for the boys to play for during these types of camps."

FFA Technical Director Han Berger is also very pleased with what was achieved in the first camp and is looking for more of the same in Melbourne.

He added: “The first camp was very interesting with many positives and we want to build on that in this camp.

“These training camps are delivering what we want to achieve and are a great opportunity for the players to showcase their ability to prove that they should be involved with the upcoming campaigns.”

This is the second of a series of training camps for Australian based players to prepare for the upcoming 2012 London Olympic Games Asian Qualifiers and FIFA U-20 World Cup Colombia 2011.

The Qantas Olyroos will face Yemen in the second round of the 2012 London Olympic Games Asian Qualifiers on June 19 and 23 with the venues to be confirmed at a later date.

The Qantas Young Socceroos will compete at the FIFA U20 World Cup Colombia 2011 which commences on July 29 with the final to be played on August 20.
