MILE Sterjovski is finding it easier to gain international rather than club recognition but has been told he is part of Derby County's plans.
Sterjovski has yet to feature for the Rams this campaign but once next week's World Cup qualifier with Qatar is over he intends to fly back to England and put that right.
After a miserable start to this season (on the back of last year's Premier League horror story) County have picked up. Sadly for Sterjovski, he hasn't been part of the revival.
He told the Derby Telegraph: “Everybody would like to play football but at the moment I’m in a difficult situation.
"I’ve spoken to the coach (Paul Jewell) at Derby and he’s assured me that I’m in his plans and an important player in the team – and that it won’t be long until I start playing again.
“I have confidence in my ability and I know I’m a good player. My time will come.”
