English Championship clubs Stoke City FC and West Bromwich Albion have entered into the end-of-season kit-release bonanza, with both sides unveiling kits for the 2019/20 season over the past day.

Positioned in 16th and 4th respectively, Stoke have doubled down on their reveals by announcing both their home and away iterations, whilst West Brom’s sole focus was on the release of their well-received home strip.

First up is the Potters’ super-sharp home shirt, featuring their distinctive red and white vertical-stripe pattern which year-on-year serves as the foundation of Stoke’s primary playing jerseys.

The red sleeve-cuffs serve to beautifully compliment the timeless button-up collar, with both elements contributing towards a pretty slick shirt which has, at the least, secured fan-approval.

On the other hand, the ‘Away Kit’, as a concept, allows clubs to stray from traditional designs and offer up a reimagined identity for the new season…

And Stoke’s is pretty much THE archetypal away kit.

Bold red detailing is used in sharp contrast to the black-bodied shirt and its grey-capped shoulders, providing the basis for the club’s secondary colour scheme for next season; it serves its purpose, in short.

Poised for the Championship play-offs, West Bromwich Albion have treated fans to an instantly popular Puma home strip which they’ll undoubtedly hope will feature in the Premier League come August.

Maintaining the Baggies’ ever-present blue and white vertical stripes, the main variation for next year’s jersey will be the blue, somewhat camouflage-like sleeves, which bear a subtle ‘Puma Disrupt’ graphic and a thick white band across the shoulder-tops.

The kit is finished off with white shorts and hooped socks.
