au.fourfourtwo.com unveils new playing strips for every A-League club.
We knew they were coming… and now they’ve finally arrived. The new A-League home kits have been finalised and according to A-League Operations Manager Rob Abernethy have been in the making for months with greater input coming from each of the clubs.
Until now, A-League teams’ home kits have remained unchanged for the first two seasons, with some teams receiving new away tops for season two of the A-League.
A lo-res document has been in circulation recently but hi-res images of the final designs, including that of new A-League team Wellington Phoenix can now be revealed.
“The strip is yellow and black which are the city colours of Wellington,” said Mr Abernethy.
“There’s been a long consultation process between the FFA, Reebok and the clubs. It’s been going now for a number of months and they were all recently signed off with club CEO approval.”
