Perth Glory have completed their 23-man squad for the upcoming A-League season with the signing of teenager Daniel Stynes.
Stynes, 19, joins the Glory first team after coming through the club's academy pathway.
He skippered the side's National Premier League team last year and has been rewarded with a professional contract.
Stynes was presented with his kit on Monday for the upcoming season, and will wear the number 25.
“I’m really excited to sign my first pro contract and my family were thrilled when they heard the news,” the forward said.
“But I know that the hard work really starts now and I’m determined to learn as much as I can from the other lads here and be the best player I can be.”
Stynes joins fellow academy graduate Joe Knowles in the first team, with the latter signing on earlier in the year.
“It’s fantastic to see our academy pathway that we put in place over the last couple of years now producing quality WA players such as Daniel and Joe,” said Glory owner and chairman Tony Sage.
“We have some other extremely talented age groups coming through at the club and will hopefully be handing many of those local players their Hyundai A-League debuts for Glory in years to come.”
