Sunderland have confirmed the signing of Italy international Emanuele Giaccherini from Juventus.
The 28-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the Premier League club, and brings his two-year stay at Juve to an end as a result.
Giaccherini made 52 appearances for the Serie A champions in total but, as manager Antonio Conte recently revealed, has been sold in order to help Juve raise funds.
He has subsequently become Paolo Di Canio's ninth signing of a busy close-season, joining the likes of Jozy Altidore and Modibo Diakite in moving to the Stadium of Light.
