Days after making A-League history with back-to-back premierships the Sky Blues finally found their mojo on the continent.

And it was Sydney's big guns that fired.

Goals to Milos Ninkovic (23'), Alex Brosque (31'), Adrian Mierzejewski (79') and Bobo (91') gave the Australian powerhouse their first win of the campaign.

Dejan Damjanovic equalised for the home side in the first half (24') but despite piling on the pressure, Graham Arnold's men proved too clinical.

It was the biggest away win by an Australian club in the ACL and brings it all down to the final day.

Man of the Match, Mierzejewski, who also chipped in with two assists for Sydney's first half goals, said the team still held hopes of making it to the knockout phase.

"It was a difficult game for us," he said post match. "I think Suwon played well but we had our chances , we scored goals and we are very happy.

"It was a very important game for us and we are very happy that we took three points and we are looking forward to next game.

"We still belive we have a chance to go through to the next round."

Ninkovic opened the scoring for the Sky Blues with a delightful chip over the goalkeeper who was stranded in no man's land.

The advantage lasted less than a minute before Damjanovic - who scored a brace against the Sky Blues in Sydney - levelled the scores.

Mierzejewski with the curling free kick found Brosque in acres of space and the Sky Blues captain headed in at the near post to retake the lead.

Sydney were under relentless pressure in the second half from a succession of corners by the K-League and took almost 15 minutes to launch their first attack.

But a quick counter saw David Carney with a sly flick to play in Mierzejewski who rounded the keeper for the third. It was all over for Suwon but not the Sky Blues.

Chris Zuvela then played the ball into substitute Bobo who went one-on-one with the Bluewings custodian before side footing home.

If Sydney can advance from Group H it will be an amazing Houdini act after they were just two points from four games going into the match. Suwon, who defeated the Sky Blues 2-0 at Allianz, were sitting comfortably in second.

After Shanghai Shenhua held group leaders Kashima Antlers 2-2 tonight, it all comes down to the final matchday with the top two teams advanciing.

Arnold's men will need to defeat Shanghai Shenhua in Sydney on April 17, while a win or draw by the Antlers over Suwon will see Sydney through on goal difference.
