Sydney FC have agreed to a request to terminate the contract of goalkeeper Vedran Janjetovic.
The keeper asked and was granted personal leave by the club last month and has been out of action ever since.
His last appearance was as a substitute for the Sky Blues was in the 2-1 round five win over Melbourne Victory on Saturday November 5.
The 29-year-old was tipped to sign an 18-month A-League contract with crosstown rivals Western Sydney today.
Janjetovic first joined Sydney in 2012 and only signed a new two-year deal in March, however, off-season signing Danny Vukovic has since been installed as a starter.
The seventh-placed Wanderers are in need of an experienced gloveman with Andrew Redmayne and back-up Jerrad Tyson failing to produce consistent form.
