The Croatian club confirmed the news on Thursday evening (AEST), with the 19-year-old failing to make one first-team appearance in 2016-17.

Kalik will reunite with former Central Coast coach Graham Arnold at the Sky Blues.

The midfielder becomes Arnold's fifth signing this off-season, alongside Luke Wilkshire, Alex Cisak, Paulo Retre and Polish midfielder Adrian Mierzejewski.

The Sydney-born talent joined the Mariners in 2013, before signing with Hajduk in February last year.

Kalik made 12 appearances for Hajduk in all competitions on loan in 2015/16, earning a permanent deal.

He has fallen out of favour at Hajduk since manager Damir Buric's dismissal, shortly after he signed the permanent contract.

Meanwhile, Kalik's Australian teammate at Hajduk, Deni Juric, also the younger brother of Tomi, has been loaned to second tier club NK Solin until December 31.
