The Sharks play Olympic on Saturday night and Brown has told his players to watch out for Cole who is said to be high on John Kosmina's hit list.

The NSW Premier League clash between the table-topping Sharks and fourth placed Olympic is one of the more interesting clashes in round four and Brown predicted it'll be another entertaining night.

“Shannon has scored a lot of goals from set pieces. He is definitely a danger," he said.

"It'll be bang, bang, bang in the first 20 minutes with both sides going at each other. It'll be a real tussle.”

The Sharks are high on confidence after a 100% start to the season. Olympic have won two games on the spin with Milan Blagojevic's men scoring seven goals in the process – including four the last time they played at home.

However, last week's hat-trick hero for Olympic Matt Mayora will be missing due to his red card at Marconi.

“This game will be a good measure of where we're at,” said Brown. “Three games don't make a season. I'll be happy if we're top by the end of the season. I think if we can avoid injuries, we can give it a real shake.”

Brown also lauded the NSW Premier League for being a strong base of talent for the A-League: “If you look, two years ago, Mile Jedinak was playing in the Premier League.

"Then Lawrie [McKinna] spotted him, he's just won the Mariners' Player of the Year and he's been called up to the Socceroos.”
