Football Federation Australia have anointed Sydney FC’s Josh Brillante and Remy Siemsen as the NAB Young Footballer's of the Year nominees for November.
It is Brillante’s second nomination having been nominated in February 2014 while at the Newcastle Jets.
The 23-year-old has had an outstanding A-League campaign, starting in all nine matches and scoring a brilliant goal against Brisbane Roar FC in Round 7.
Interestingly, his teammate and flatmate Brandon O’Neill was the nominee for October.
“It's an honour to be considered and was also great to see my team mate Brandon nominated last month,” Brillante said.
“I think these nominations arise off the back of all round team performances so all of our players definitely need to be acknowledged.
“Also congratulations to Remy on her award from the Sydney FC women's team.”

Siemsen has had an outstanding start to her W-League career scoring twice from four appearances and assisting in a crucial penalty against Newcastle Jets last Sunday.
"I'm so humbled and grateful for the nomination,” Siemsen said.
“It's a dream come true to play in the Westfield W-League with such a quality team and I hope to learn a lot this season and grow as a player.”
Siemsen is the first player to be nominated for the W-League NAB Young Footballer of the Year 2016/17 Award.
The overall winner of NAB Young Footballer of the Year will receive a $10,000 personal investment portfolio, along with a NAB Private Client Manager to assist with a range of banking and financial services.
