Recent reports have linked former Nigerian international skipper Taribo West to Sydney FC. The strong and athletic centre back is being targetted to partner Tony Popovic in the heart of defence for the Blues. West who played for Inter Milan for almost a decade is said to not be demanding a high salary and his interest is "based solely on lifestyle" reasons. If Sydney acquire West they will have a formible line up when the A-League season begins.
