Yau will leave Sydney after tomorrow’s preseason clash with Adelaide United at Marconi Stadium and return to Sydney on 12 September.

Panama takes on Canada in Toronto on 7 September before both teams fly to Panama City for a return clash on 11 September.

“I am very happy to be in the Panama National team again,” Yau said, through his Sydney FC translator, defender Fabio Alves.

“I am excited to be playing in the (World Cup Qualifying) games but I also am excited about playing on Saturday for Sydney FC against another (A-League) team (Adelaide United).”

Panama currently sits on top of Group C of the CONCACAF 2014 FIFA World Cup Round Three Qualifiers after defeating Honduras 2-0 and Cuba 1-0 in the first two matches. The two top teams from Group C will progress to the final six-team group hoping secure a passage to Brazil 2014.

“Playing for Panama is special,” Yau added. “We have two games to play (against) Canada.

"It’s going to be very difficult going to play Canada but we have a good chance to win. We have good players and a good team which I feel confident (about).

"I’m looking forward to playing in front of the Panama fans again. it will be good.”

The 22-year-old striker has previously made four appearances for Panama, scoring a goal in a friendly against Guyana in May 2012 and he was also a member of the squad for the earlier victories over Cuba and Honduras.
