TOMORROW night's Sydney v Perth Glory game at Campbelltown has been called off after Glory were unable to fly east because of severe weather in Perth.
“Perth Glory players and staff have been unable to travel today due to the severe electrical and thunder storms in Perth and will be unable to fly until tomorrow at the earliest,” said FFA CEO Ben Buckley.
“Player welfare is one of our most important concerns and the call has been made not to force the Perth Glory squad to travel the five hour flight to Sydney and play on the same day under these conditions.”
An announcement on the rescheduling of this match will be announced later.
