AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti hailed teenage striker Alberto Paloschi after he scored the winner against Siena on Sunday just 18 seconds into his Serie A debut for the European champions.
Substitute Paloschi, 18, struck shortly after the hour mark, having just come on for Serginho.
"Paloschi is a very promising player," said Ancelotti.
"He will continue to train with us and he could even play against Livorno on Wednesday alongside Alberto Gilardino.
"He is young but he is talented.
"I thought about playing him from the start but I didn't want to put too much pressure on him.
"I am extremely happy for him, I knew he would score but I didn't think it would take him just 18 seconds."
The outcome left Milan just two points behind fourth-place Fiorentina, who hold the last Champions League qualifying spot.
The Rossoneri will have a chance to leapfrog the Viola in the standings when they take on Livorno in midweek.
