The TeleChoice Premier League takes a break this weekend – or at least for every team bar Wollongong FC and Sydney United.
In the TeleChoice Premier League Round 17 ‘catch-up’ fixture Wollongong FC will attempt to join Sutherland Sharks on-top of the League ladder.
A win for the Wolves will be enough to draw level with this season’s front-runner, setting up, potentially, a final round match-up between the two sides to determine the Premiership.
For Sydney United, a win would all but secure a spot in the Top-Five as A.P.I.A.-Leichhardt Tigers languish just outside the pack.
Sydney United’s loss against the Tigers in Round 19 re-opened the gates for A.P.I.A.-Leichhardt though the Reds’ destiny does lie in their own hands.
The encounter is scheduled for a 7:00 PM kick-off at John Crehan Park.
