A bronze bust of Herbert Chapman will welcome Huddersfield's dignitaries in the directors' entrance, a replica of the one that first adorned Highbury's marble halls and similar to another which sits proudly in the main reception of their own Galpharm Stadium.

Chapman, the game's first great manager, is revered by both Terriers and Gunners fans after building footballing dynasties at both clubs - at Huddersfield in the 1920s and then Arsenal in the 30s.

The Yorkshireman was responsible for Huddersfield's unprecedented hat-trick of titles and then laid the blueprint for Arsenal to repeat the feat a decade later.

Chapman would no doubt approve of the modern day Gunners, while his presence at the Galpharm serves to remind those behind Huddersfield's resurgence how far they have to go to return their club to former glories.

The Terriers are challenging for automatic promotion and wealthy chairman Dean Hoyle demands no less than a place in the npower Championship next season, so league points are at the forefront of manager Lee Clark's thinking.

But Clark, the former Newcastle, Sunderland and Fulham midfielder, is anxious his players enjoy what could be a memorable day in the capital.

Clark said: "It's right up there as one of the biggest and best occasions for the football club for a long time.

"It's a great opportunity for my players and for everybody involved with the club because we get to enjoy the day and experience playing at one of the best stadiums in world football and against some of the best individuals, as they have shown on many occasions.

"I've seen them myself, although I didn't go to their game against Ipswich. I thought I'd send somebody else from the staff to watch them and see what they came up with.

"We know it's going to be tough, we know we are huge underdogs, but I said to the players at the start of the week, we've worked very, very hard to get this. We've come through some tricky ties."

Town were held to a goalless draw at Blue Square Premier side Cambridge United in the first round and required stoppage-time goals from Lee Peltier and Gary Roberts to squeeze through in the replay.

Macclesfield were thumped 6-0 at the Galpharm in round two and early goals from Scott Arfield and Roberts ended Dover's gallant run to the third round and set up their first trip to the Emirates.

Huddersfield will be without leading goalscorer Jordan Rhodes (ankle), so Lee Novak is expected to start alongside Alan Lee.

Arsenal teenager Benik Afobe was all set to play against his parent club, but under FA rules is ineligible as he arrived at Huddersfield under a youth loan. Town will also be without on-loan Newcastle defender Tamas Kadar (hamstring).

Clark added: "It's the toughest challenge of my managerial career so far, but not the biggest because obviously our aim this season is to get to the Championship.

"But it's the most exciting so far because of where we are going, who we are playing against and who my opposite number is. These things make it a fantastic occasion for us all."
