The Manchester United forward has missed his country's last two international outings after being suspended against Ecuador and rested against Brazil, but returns as preparations move up a gear ahead of the resumption of World Cup qualifiers.

The match will be the 24-year-old's first appearance of the season after he missed United's opening Premier League clash with Newcastle at the weekend following a family bereavement.

Tevez returns to a team shorn of the services of Lionel Messi, Juan Roman Riquelme, Javier Mascherano and Sergio Aguero due to Olympic commitments, but insists he is buoyed to be back in the national team set-up.

"I am back after two matches, and I am happy because I am meeting the technical staff and the players again," Tevez told ESPN SportsCenter. "It makes me feel very good."

With a number of senior players missing from his squad, Argentina coach Alfio Basile looks set to tinker with his tactics ahead of the World Cup qualifiers.

Argentina sit second in the South American World Cup Qualifying Zone after six matches, and resume their bid to reach South Africa 2010 when they host leaders Paraguay on September 6 before travelling to Peru four days later.

Belarus, meanwhile, are getting in shape ahead of the European World Cup qualifiers as they bid to reach the finals of the tournament for the first time.

Bernd Stange's side open their Group Six campaign against Ukraine on September 6. Croatia, England, Kazakhstan and Andorra have also been drawn in the pool.

Stange revealed there will be no further experimentation during the encounter with the Argentinians, insisting he is happy with his current crop of players.

"We have already built a team and this team has played well," he said.

"That is why we don't want to recruit new people in the team again but want to prepare for coming games in a stable manner, with confidence in ourselves."

Belarus will be without injured duo Tsimafey Kalachow and Alyaksandr Skvyarnyuk.
