Polchovin has named a 30-man squad for the game, which sees the co-hosts step up their preparations ahead of the opening game of the tournament against Iraq on July 7.

Thailand are also set to face Holland on June 6 in Bangkok and Qatar on June 30, while also taking part in a two-week training programme in Germany.

"Because of Thailand Premier League fixtures this weekend, we can only get the players together for training after Sunday," Polchovin told the Bangkok Post.

"For the match against China, I just want to see which players are ready for the Asian Cup and where there are any weaknesses."

Thailand plays Australia and Oman in Group A of the tournament.
