Moore's absence through a hamstring injury suffered in the recent 1-0 Asian Cup qualifying loss to Kuwait is a big omission for the Socceroos and Verbeek is not underestimating the importance of the former captain.

"I spoke with Craig yesterday and we all think it's impossible for him to be 100 percent fit for the Uzbekistan game," he said today as he revealed his squad for the match on April 1.

"If you lose Craig Moore, who is normally a starting member, every player who gets in the team (as a replacement) is not as good as Craig Moore.

"Michael Beauchamp is doing very well, Jade North is playing every game (in the Korean League) and we have Chris Coyne, who is playing regularly in the national team.

"I am not worried at all but it's quite clear if you miss players like Craig Moore you lose something."

However he added that Harry Kewell is fit and well and raring to play his part in the vital cup qualifier.

"Harry Kewell is fit, ready to come, ready to play," said Verbeek. "He called me last week and he is very willing to be here and to show himself again in Australia and that is good."
