SYDNEY FC midfielder Stuart Musialik is delighted to have made Pim Verbeek's final squad for the Qatar clash and hopes it will be a case of third time lucky.
Musialik did his international cause no harm at all on Sunday night as he banged in a stoppage-time equaliser for Sydney FC in front of the watching Verbeek.
Shannon Cole also featured in that match but fell just short of making the final 28 for the Qatar match.
Speaking to www.sydneyfc.com today, Musialik said: "I’ve been in the squad a few times now and haven’t had the chance to make my debut.
“I’ve been on the bench twice without getting on the field, but if I keep working hard, hopefully my turn will come.”
The Socceroos squad will assemble in Brisbane tomorrow morning ahead of their first training session later that day.
