Western Sydney Wanderers have given Vedran Janjetovic a huge vote of confidence with a massive four-year contract extension.
In a club known for keeping players on short deals, Janjetovic's contract represents a club record and comes hot on the heels of overseas interest.
Ahead of this weekend's massive match for the last finals spot, Janjetovic inked a new deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2022/23 A-League season.
The 30-year-old has been immense for the Red and Black since making the cross-town switch from Sydney FC in December 2016.
“There are some exciting things planned for this club and I just want to be a part of it,” said Janjetovic who has notched up 59 appearances across all competitions since arriving.
“I’m happy to be a part of the future and I’m looking forward to seeing what unfolds in the coming years.”

Wanderers have coughed up 44 goals so far this season, giving them the third worst defensive record in the league after Wellington Phoenix (54) and Perth Glory (47).
But Janjetovic has blitzed the field in the number of saves - 108 - almost 30 more than the next closest, Brisbane Roar's Jamie Young (81).
He also leads the league in passing accuracy for goalkeepers, and having played every single minute of the season so far.

As the club prepares for its final match of the regular season against Adelaide United on Sunday, Janjetovic said he was ecstatic about securing his future with the Wanderers where his game has gone to another level.
“It’s been great to me, I’ve got great support by my side,” he said.
“The whole season I feel like I’ve been improving and I’m growing as a player every week.
“Nothing made more sense than staying at the Wanderers.”
