RICKI Herbert will keep the Socceroos guessing over his team selection with the All Whites coach admitting there are still three blank spots to be filled ahead of Monday's clash in Melbourne.

A torrential downpour on Friday didn't help matters much as the side had to hold its training session on the main pitch at North Harbour Stadium as all the outer grounds were unplayable.
The side's afternoon session was cancelled with the result that an extra run has been planned for Melbourne to help Herbert make up his mind.
He played down the fact that the starting XI from the Manama leg of the World Cup playoff was the last to run together on Friday.
"There's not a lot to read in the line-up that trained together today. It's the first time we've matched anything up.
"We won't name the team until Sunday. There are still three positions that we're looking and it (Friday's training session) was more about seeing where we at off the back of the Bahrain game," he said.
Uncapped players Aaron Clapham and Winston Reid joined the squad after harrowing travel from Europe and Herbert didn't rule out either player appearing against the Socceroos.
"We've only got four warm-up games before taking on Slovakia and at some stage we're going to have a look at players so it could well be in the opening game.
"It's important that we're ready for June 15 and we're fortunate that we've got four big games," he said.
There were no guarantees for anyone to play. The four games would lend themselves to players getting some time because some key players may need to be rested.
"But we need to make sure we have the best XI for Slovakia," he added.
The All Whites leave Auckland on Saturday evening for Melbourne and after the Australia game the side flies to Austria for altitude training and games with Serbia and Slovenia with a final training game against Chile in South Africa.
