SOCCEROOS keeper Mark Schwarzer is a doubt for Monday's clash against New Zealand in Melbourne after suffering a thumb strain in training and missing Friday night's session at Olympic Park.
Should Pim Verbeek decide not to risk Schwarzer against Ricki Herbert's All Whites then it will open the door to either Adam Federici or Brad Jones.
Schwarzwer's injury is not expected to keep him out of action for very long and he has not been ruled out of the New Zealand clash at this stage.
