Nagoya clinched their first-ever domestic crown on Saturday at Shonan Bellmare but the triumphant homecoming was spoilt when Masashi Oguro chipped keeper Seigo Nazaraki to score the only goal of the game in the 27th minute.

The victory meant Tokyo pulled three points clear of Vissel Kobe and the final relegation spot with just two games to go.

A late Naoki Ishihara goal denied Vissel all three points as they were held to a 2-2 draw at Omiya Ardija.

Park Kang-jo put Vissel in front after 14 minutes only for Mato Neretljak to level in the 67th minute.

The visitors regained the advantage thanks to Yuki Fukaya's own goal 10 minutes later before Ishihara struck four minutes from time to also alleviate Omiya's relegation worries.

Kashima Antlers dropped to third after they lost 2-1 at home to Jubilo Iwata. Ryoichi Maeda and Gilshino gave the visitors an early lead they never relinquished despite Daiki Iwamasa's goal just before the break.

Gamba Osaka climbed to second thanks to a 2-1 win over bottom side Shonan Bellmare.

Hideo Hashimoto found the back of the net for Gamba inside the first minute and although Kenji Baba levelled shortly before the half-hour mark, Hayato Sasaki grabbed a second-half winner.

Cerezo Osaka moved into fourth and the final Asian Champions League spot with a 2-1 triumph at Kawasaki Frontale.

Following a goalless first-half, Rui Komatsu and Adriano put Cerezo in control before Juninho pulled a goal back with 10 minutes to go. Kawasaki now trail their rivals by two points in sixth place.

Shimizu S-Pulse's 2-1 home win over Sanfrecce Hiroshima saw them climb to fifth, one point behind Osaka, and ended the visitors' hopes of Champions League football next year.

Akihiro Hyodo and Keisuke Iwashita found the back of the net in the second half for Shimizu with Tadanari Lee netting a late consolation.

Yokohama F. Marinos also missed out on continental competition next season after they were beaten 4-1 by Urawa Reds.

Robson Ponte scored twice for the visitors, while Edmilson drew level with Nagoya's Josh Kennedy at the top of the scoring charts with his 16th goal of the season. Wilfried Sanou bagged Urawa's other goal with Shingo Hyodo netting for Yokohama.

Montedio Yamagata secured their J.league future for next season as Yuzo Tashiro's strike seven minutes into the second period was enough to see off Division Two-bound Kyoto Purple Sanga.

Finally, Atomu Tanaka's injury-time equaliser cancelled out Shingo Akamine's 78th-minute opener to snatch a 1-1 draw for Albirex Niigata against Vegalta Sendai.
