Tommy Oar and APOEL are one step closer to qualifying for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Two early goals from APOEL on Tuesday mean they take a 2-0 advantage into their play-off second leg against Czech side Slavia Prague.
Igor de Camargo opened the scoring inside the second minute after converting a Lorenzo Ebicilio corner.
The Cypriots then made it 2-0 in the 10th minute after a delightful chip from Efstathios Aloneftis.
APOEL take the two-goal advantage going into the second leg in Prague next Wednesday.
Socceroo Tommy Oar played just over 50 minutes on the right wing, before being substituted for Giorgios Efrem.
