Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni expects in-coming coach Jurgen Klinsmann's tactics to suit him down to the ground.
Klinsmann will take over the reins at the Bavarian club from Ottmar Hitzfeld in the summer, and the Italian striker believes the change will play to his strengths.
"He was a great player, even in Italy," Toni told the Bild newspaper.
"He was a very dangerous striker and experience shows that such coaches have an attacking mentality.
"They have a more attacking approach to training, and they play more attacking styles. That could help me improve."
The 30-year-old has already scored 17 goals in his debut season in Germany and is keen to continue that prolific form.
"I never set myself precise targets, but my aim is always to improve," he added.
Toni's goals have given Bayern the edge in the race for the title, and the striker believes another Bundesliga crown is on its way to Munich.
"Only winning counts for us," he said. "Defeats are not so bad at other clubs.
"But Bremen and maybe even Schalke are tough rivals. They will certainly have lost a few points in the first half of the season because they were in the Champions League."
