STIRLING Lions have kept their Minor Premiership hopes alive after an injury-time winner from Bobby Wilson stole all three poins against Mandurah City for a 3-2 victory at Hyundai Stadium.
An 89th minute goal awarded to Christian Paschkewitz looked to have sealed Mandurah's destiny to remain in the APB State Premier League next year after the earlier results meant City needed a point to keep them safe from relegation.
But Wilson's header which bounced off the crossbar and over the goal line in the 92nd minute shattered Mandurah's celebrations on a night marking the 40th anniversary of the club's history with several dignataries in attendance, including Westfield Matildas coach Tom Sermanni.
Cockburn City continued their fight to avoid the drop from the APB Premier League, with a come from behind 2-1 win against Inglewood United at the 6PR stadium on Saturday.

Carl Medica and Alex Christie began their interim run in the Western Knights senior coaching position with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Armadale thanks to a late double from Anthony Campbell.
It was a very nearly a perfect day for the new coaching team, with only Bobby Wilson's late winner for Stirling Lions against Mandurah preventing the Knights from celebrating back-to-back APB State Premier League minor premierships by Saturday night.
Instead, the Knights will travel to Macedonia Park next weekend to face second-placed Stirling knowing a draw will be enough to see them finish the season on top of the APB State Premier League table.

The win moves ECU to 28 points, just one point behind fifth placed Sorrento, as the race for the last remaining finals position reaches boiling point with just round remaining in the APB Premier League season.

In the APB State Division One, Bunbury Forum Force has slipped up in the race for promotion, losing 3-2 to Gosnells City.
