After a global search for a new club, James Troisi is set to stay with Melbourne Victory after all.
Troisi was set to become a Melbourne City player this week before a dramatic U-turn saw him snub them for rivals Victory.
It comes just two weeks after the 29-year-old posed for a photo with the scarf of Israeli club Maccabi Haifi, before that deal eventually fell through.
It was mentioned he had attracted the interest of clubs in Russia and Turkey, before coming back to Melbourne to complete a medical with City.
But it was reported by the Herald Sun that Troisi never re-appeared at City's Bundoora headquarters, instead electing to re-join Victory.
Victory announced the Socceroo's re-signing on Thursday, with Troisi penning a two-year deal with the A-League runners-up in 2016/17.
