New striker Tuncay is set to make his Bolton debut in tomorrow night's Carling Cup clash with Macclesfield after finally having his work permit granted.
The Turkey forward has spent the last 10 days in limbo, waiting for the red tape to be sorted, but with international clearance already attained, manager Owen Coyle is likely to throw him straight into the fray.
Further changes are anticipated at the Reebok Stadium, with Salford-born teenager Joe Riley expected to make his debut at right-back. Gretar Steinsson (foot) is definitely out.
Provisional squad: Jaaskelainen, Knight, Gardner, Cahill, Robinson, Petrov, Reo-Coker, Pratley, Eagles, M Davies, Muamba, Klasnic, Bogdan, Alonso, Wheater, Blake, Tuncay, Blakeman, Riley, Connolly.
