TURKEY concluded their pre-Euro 2008 warm-up matches with a 2-0 victory over Finland in Duisburg on Thursday evening.
Middlesbrough midfielder Tuncay Sanli opened the scoring for the Turks in the 15th minute and Semih Senturk put the result beyond doubt two minutes from time.
Turkey, who were edged out 3-2 by Uruguay in Bochum on Sunday, face Portugal, Czech Republic and co-hosts Switzerland in Group A at next month's European Championships.
Fatih Terim's team took advantage of their first real opportunity of the match in Duisburg to go ahead, Tuncay latching onto Sabri Sarioglu's right-wing cross and finding the bottom-right corner from close range with his left foot.
Sabri went close to putting the Turks two up 10 minutes later with a right-footed shot from 12 yards but his effort was punched to safety by Finland goalkeeper Peter Enckelman.
Enckelman's opposite number Volkan Demirel was called into action six minutes before half-time when he got his fists to Aleksei Eremenko's 20-yard free-kick.
The second period was an uneventful affair with chances few and far between until Kazim Kazim's 88th-minute cross from the right found Semih, who lashed a left-footed show low into the centre of the goal to make it 2-0.
