The Turkish football federation have confirmed the new Super Lig season will begin over a month later than planned as a result of the match-fixing scandal that continues to grip the country.
The new campaign will now get under way on September 9 - pushed back from August 7 - allowing further time for the authorities to investigate the corruption allegations that have rocked Turkish football.
Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim is just one of around 30 people arrested in recent weeks as part of an investigation into claims of match-fixing during last season.
The group included officials and players from a number of clubs and followed police raids across several cities.
Fenerbahce were crowned league champions last term, pipping Trabzonspor to the Super Lig title with a dramatic 4-3 win at Sivasspor on the final day.
