Turkey today underlined their intention to rival France and Italy to host Euro 2016 by announcing financial guarantees worth £800million.
The guarantees will be for new and existing stadia in the proposed eight host cities.
The three countries are the only ones left in the contest to host the tournament, with UEFA's executive committee voting on May 28.
Turkish Football Federation president Mahmut Ozgener said: "This is a reflection of the recent economic growth in Turkey. With these commitments having been signed, Turkey is more than ready to host the European Championship in 2016.
"Our bid is getting stronger every day. In light of our efforts, I am confident that the UEFA executive committee will vote for our bid.
"It would be an historic decision for European football to recognise Turkey and our country and its football fans will go all out to be considered for this project."
Turkey's plan would see six new stadia built and three others renovated.
The Turkish government have also announced plans for a £23billion infrastructure improvement programme over the next six years, regardless of whether the Euro 2016 bid is won or not.
