Western Sydney Wanderer Jerrad Tyson has been hit with a one-match ban following an incident during his side’s round nine clash with Central Coast Mariners.
The independent Match Review Panel considered the incident as Tyson was issued with a Red Card in the 59th-minute.
The MRP confirmed Tyson will serve the suspension being the minimum sanction for the offence of denying the opposing team an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.
The glovesman will subsequently miss this weekend’s fixture against Melbourne Victory.
