It appears UAE outfit Al-Sharjah has gotten confused as to which McGowan brother they've actually signed.
Ryan McGowan was confirmed as a new Sharjah player on Sunday after completing a move from Guizhou Zhicheng in China.
The 28-year-old had been in China since 2016 after signing for Henan Jianye from Dundee United in Scotland.
However, upon Sharjah's announcement of McGowan's signing, they used a highlight reel of him via their official Twitter page.
The only problem is, they were actually highlights of his brother, Dylan, who played at Adelaide United last season.
Dylan found the funny side of the situation though, and posted this hilarious reaction to the video.
Congrats @rmcgowan89 on signing. I know we're brothers but this is the last time I'm letting u use my highlight reel #commission #surely https://t.co/JMt2hBWsC7
