UEFA have suspended Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luiz Adriano for one Champions League match for his controversial goal against Nordsjaelland.
After a break in play due to an injury, one of the Brazilian's team-mates attempted to play the ball back to the Danish side's goalkeeper, only for Adriano to latch on to it and score.
Shakhtar went on to win the game 5-2.
The governing body announced the next day that it had brought charges against the player, and he will now sit out the clash with Juventus for 'violation of the principles of conduct'.
"The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body today decided to suspend Luiz Adriano for one match," a statement read.
"The suspension applies to next week's Champions League group stage game between Shakhtar Donetsk and Juventus in Ukraine.
"The Shakhtar player has also been required to perform one full day of community football service.
"Luiz Adriano had been charged with violation of the principles of conduct during last week's Champions League Group E match against Nordsjaelland in Copenhagen."
The 25-year-old went on to score a hat-trick in the clash as Shakhtar sealed their place in the knockout stages of the competition.
