STUTTGART goalkeeper Sven Ulreich spent the night in hospital after being concussed during his side's 3-1 win over Wolfsburg yesterday.
The 21-year-old, who stood in for the suspended Jens Lehmann, bravely thwarted Wolfsburg with a string of courageous saves towards the end of the Bundesliga fixture and, shortly before the end, he took a blow to the head when he dived on the ball in front of Wolves striker Grafite.
He was able to end the game, but complained of dizziness and a headache afterwards.
As a precaution, he was taken to a Stuttgart hospital, where he remained under observation all night, but was discharged today after being diagnosed with concussion.
He has been told to rest for several days and is likely to miss the trip to Freiburg on Friday night.
