A day of footballing fun – kicking off this Sunday at 9am at Golden Goal, Strathfield Recreation Club, Sydney – features a host of teams taking part in a tournament to help raise funds to help Australian side Football United realise their dream of playing in the FIFA Football For Hope Festival in South Africa.

As well as featuring a range of community teams representing Egypt, France, Afghanistan, South Korea, Italy, Brazil and England, celebs including Adam Spencer, Peter Fitzsimons, Craig Foster and Anthony Peridis will be taking part in the action too.

With DJs, a BBQ and plenty of fun for the kids, there's loads for all the family to do as well as the feel good factor of helping Football United – a team which supports refugees and other disadvantaged youth.

The FIFA Football for Hope Festival will run alongside the 2010 FIFA World CupTM, with other teams from around the world selected for their contribution to highlighting the power of the game for social change.
