An injury-hit Adelaide United arrived in Vietnam on Sunday ahead of Wednesday night’s Asian Champions League match against local side Dong Tam Long An.
Missing from the Reds line up will be midfield fulcrum Ross Aloisi – an inflamed heel – Diego and Jason Spagnuolo.
Young strikeforce Bruce Djite (subject of transfer speculation from Melbourne) and hot striker Nathan Burns are in the travelling party but were rested from training late last week after playing for the Olyroos on Wednesday night.
The squad flew out from Adelaide to Singapore on Saturday before flying onto Saigon on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Adelaide CEO Michael Petrillo says John Kosmina's successor as head coach will be known within a month.
"Applications close on March 31. I would like to think we would be in a position to announce the new coach by April,” Petrillo told the Adelaide Advertiser on the weekend.
