The Red Devils host the Toffees on Saturday with Sir Alex Ferguson's side leading Chelsea and Arsenal in what has become a three-horse title race.

United drew 0-0 with Newcastle on Monday but Arsenal could not take advantage as they blew a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 at Tottenham last night, instead falling to third in the table after Chelsea beat Birmingham.

United are also in the semi-final of the Champions League and striker Michael Owen told the Manchester Evening News: "Being successful and winning things was the main draw in signing for Manchester United.

"I have been at big clubs throughout my career, challenging for honours but have never been in as good a position at this stage of the season as we are now."

Chelsea host second-bottom West Ham, with six wins and two draws in their last eight games propelling them to second in the table with a match to come against United.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists his side will continue their bid for the title despite squandering a two-goal lead at Tottenham.

The result means the Gunners remain six points behind leaders United and sees them drop to third.

"Chelsea are back in and they play Manchester United," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.

"We have games we know we can win, at some stage it will be down to us. We will fight."

Arsenal play Bolton on Sunday.

Manchester City travel to Blackburn on Monday night.

Tottenham host West Brom who should now be safe from relegation after they moved six points clear of the drop zone.

Spurs came from two goals down against Arsenal although they are two points behind Manchester City in the fourth and final Champions League spot.

Spurs qualified for the Champions League last season with a 1-0 victory at City and the teams are due to meet in the final weeks of the season, something which excites striker Peter Crouch.

"I hope it comes down to that again. I enjoyed that last year, it was great.

"We were fantastic there last year and hopefully we can repeat that.

"First we have got to get three points from West Brom."

Liverpool host Birmingham as they look to close the five-point gap on Spurs in fifth.

The Reds drew 1-1 with Arsenal last time out scoring with the last kick of the game that lasted 111 minutes.

Birmingham are five points above the relegation zone.

FA Cup finalists Stoke travel to Aston Villa, who have got themselves clear of trouble although they will be without manager Gerard Houllier who was admitted to hospital after being taken ill last night.

Sunderland have dropped to 14th after a run of eight defeats and a draw in their last nine games and they have a vital match against Wigan, who are one place and a point above the relegation zone.

Blackpool have dropped into the bottom three and face Newcastle who drew with Manchester United on Tuesday.

Rock-bottom Wolves host Fulham.
