FFA has confirmed that the abandoned A-League fixture between Gold Coast United and Central Coast Mariners has been re-scheduled to be played on Wednesday February 9.
The game, which was called off last Sunday due to incessant rain causing a water-logged pitch, will take place at Skilled Park at 8pm local time (9pm AEDT).
The February date is a good result for Gold Coast, who could have potentially been without Socceroos pair Jason Culina and Michael Thwaite during January due to the 2011 Asian Cup.
The re-scheduled fixture will take place days before the final round of the A-League season, with both sides expected to partake in the finals series.
