CARL Valeri believes every member of the squad has done their best to provide Pim Verbeek with the toughest of selection headaches ahead of the World Cup opener against Germany.
While many pundits and supporters feel Verbeek's favoured starting XI is pretty much set in stone - injuries aside - Valeri, who, according to reports today, could oust Mark Bresciano for a starting spot against Germany, believes it is not that simple.
"All the boys have been working hard," Valeri told the Courier Mail.
"Everyone deserves to play. We've really made Pim's job hard and I think that's a good thing."
The big question mark is whether or not Harry Kewell will start.
Defender Scott Chipperfield told the paper: "When you have somebody of that quality, of course you can't wait to see them out there."
